How to sign in

  1. Enter the e-mail you have set up for signing in, and your password. On the phone you can save the password for next time.
  2. On the web the address is edisonka.m-line.cz; on the phone just start the app.

You always sign in to the portal - from the phone as well. The app signs in to no other system, and you need no access to the company’s ERP system.

In the top right-hand corner of the sign-in screen you can switch the language and the light or dark appearance. Before signing in you choose between Czech and English - Slovak is loaded from your profile as soon as you sign in.

Below the form the web shows a “User manual” link - you can open this guide without signing in.

Do you work for more than one company?

One sign-in covers all your companies. The web and the phone handle them differently, though:

Employee, or portal user?

The portal distinguishes two groups of people. They sign in the same way - with an e-mail and a password - and differ only in where the account came from:

One person can be both; the e-mail used for signing in decides which applies.

What you see in each company is configured in the portal - for employees in bulk by cost centre and category, for portal users individually. A module the company has not enabled is visible to nobody.

You set your own password

Signing in for the first time? The portal recognises this itself - after you enter your e-mail, the password field is replaced by an explanation and a button that sends you a link to create your password. It applies to anyone without a password yet, new employees included. Below the button there is an “I already have a password” link that takes you back to the ordinary sign-in - useful if you got here through a typo in the e-mail or set your password in another tab in the meantime.

On the phone this is a screen of its own, “Setting a password”, and the app takes you straight to it once you enter your e-mail - you never see a password field you have nothing to type into. “Back to sign-in” takes you back.

Forgotten your password? The link that does the same is on the web below the Sign in button and is called “Set / forgot password”. On the phone it is called “No password / forgotten password” and it sits on the password screen - anyone who has no password yet never gets there. The link in the e-mail is valid for 24 hours; if it expires, just ask for a new one.

It is sent to the e-mail assigned to you by your employer, the one you sign in with. Nothing arrived? Check your junk mail; if it is not there either, contact your employer.

The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain a letter and a digit. The page that opens from the link says so above the button and will not accept anything weaker.

You change your password the same way once you have one - on the web from your profile menu, on the phone via About the app → Change password. A link always arrives by e-mail; you never have to type your old password again. Only employees get the button on the phone - a dispatcher, an HR officer or an administrator changes the password on the web.

Nothing from the ERP system is used for signing in - neither a birth number, nor a personnel number, nor a PIN. The only thing with a password of its own is the payslip in the Payslips module: depending on the company’s settings you open it with a PIN, with your personnel number, or with the part of your birth number after the slash - and some companies do not protect payslips at all. Payroll records decide that, not you.

Not sure which e-mail to use? Get in touch with your employer - the sign-in e-mail is set by your administrator.
