What the module does
- Adding photos to selected records in the ERP system.
Damage
- For the selected year, it shows a list of damage events recorded in the ERP system.
- Up to 30 photos can be added to a damage event. The attachments are transferred into the ERP system, where they become part of the damage file.
- At least one photo is mandatory - without it the batch is not saved.
- Note - on the phone there is one note for the whole batch (at most 500 characters); on the web you can write a note for each photo separately. A photo without its own note takes over the shared one.
- You also see the photos already attached to the event - they open in a preview or can be downloaded.
- Nothing can ever be attached to a cancelled event, and to a closed one only if the carrier allows it. The page tells you why.
Carrier settings
How many photos fit on one event, and how old the events offered to you can be, is set by your carrier.
- Max photos per event - how many photos may go to one damage event. Empty = 30, more cannot be set.
- Largest single photo (MB) - the portal rejects a larger photo and explains why. Empty = 10 MB. A lower value is handy where photos are taken at the scene over mobile data.
- How many years back to offer events - how old the events you may select and add to can be. Empty = 2 years, 0 = the current year only.
- Allow attachments to closed events - switched off (the default), nothing can be attached to an event in the “Closed” state. Switched on, a photo goes through there as well; handy when the documentation is collected only after closing.
