The dashboard in the portal
After signing in on the web, a dashboard built from mini-apps (widgets) opens - everyone arranges their own:
- In the default layout, the first tile is EDISONKA on your phone - a reminder that you have the same portal on your phone, showing which app version is available and which one you have. Anyone who knows the app can remove the tile.
- The app version is also visible in the footer of the left panel next to the portal version; when your phone has an older one, an orange dot lights up next to it. A click opens the release notes page with more about EDISONKA.
- In edit mode you drag widgets around, resize them, add more from the palette, or remove them from the dashboard.
- The layout is saved for you personally, not for the whole company, and you can return to the default at any time.
- The default layout matches what you do - a driver, a dispatcher and an administrator each start from a different one.
- The modules themselves are in the left-hand panel; a badge next to the name shows how many items in them are waiting for your response - unread and unconfirmed news items and documents, unread messages in your Feedback threads, surveys to fill in, unfinished carrier inspections, and expired or expiring document validity.
- The company you are working in is shown in the header; if you work for more than one, you switch it there as well.
The dashboard on the phone
After signing in, the dashboard appears - tiles for the individual modules. You only see tiles for the modules the company has enabled and that you have permission to use.
- A tile carries the number of items waiting for your response - unread and unconfirmed news items and documents, unread messages in your Feedback threads, surveys to fill in, unfinished carrier inspections, and expired or expiring document validity.
- Modules of the same name for line transport and public transport services (Driver’s Schedule, Dispatcher’s Schedule / Dispatch Sheet, Shift Exchange) are distinguished not only by colour but also by an AD / MHD tag in the corner of the tile.
- Long-pressing a card in the module lists copies its contents to the clipboard.
- On a tablet the screen width fits more tiles per row than you have set - the setting determines their size.
App information and settings
In the top right there is a profile icon - tap it to see information about the signed-in user and the connection. On this screen you can:
- open the online guide - a prominent card with a link to this website (EDISONKA only; in the portal the guide sits under the question mark in the header),
- sign out and sign in again (for example under a different account),
- set the app theme - light / dark / following your phone’s settings (EDISONKA only),
- set the app language - Čeština / Slovenčina / English / following your phone’s settings (EDISONKA only); we will add further languages as demand arises,
- set the number of tiles per row on the dashboard - 1 / 2 / 3 on a phone (on a tablet the switch shows the actual number of columns for that screen; EDISONKA only),
- view the change log for the individual versions (EDISONKA only) - in the language the app is switched to,
- find out the app version and the version of the portal it is connected to (EDISONKA only) - useful when reporting a problem to support,
- change your password - on the phone only employees get the button, a portal user changes it on the web,
- send feedback (EDISONKA only) - if you have access to the Feedback module, it will offer to open it straight away,
- open your company’s website - the link sits in the footer of the screen (EDISONKA only) and leads to the address where you sign in from a browser.
On the web you can also set the language, light or dark appearance and font size (compact / normal / large) under the user icon in the header. Your choices are remembered in the browser.
