What the module does
- To hand in at the cash desk - the amount left to hand in for the last 3 months, the number of cash counts awaiting processing and the date of the oldest one. The same amount appears in My day and on the dashboard tile.
- Months - tiles for the last 3 months, from the oldest to the current one. Each tile shows the amount to hand in and the number of cash counts in the month; clicking it opens the month’s cash counts. The tiles add up to the amount at the top.
- Refresh reads the takings from EDISON again. The toolbar shows the time of the last read (Updated) and the time of the last import of ticket machine data into EDISON (Last import).
- An overview of cash counts for the selected month - date, ticket machine and cash count number, takings, handed in (in the terminal and at the cash desk), the difference and the status.
- Cash count detail - takings breakdown (fares, card top-ups, card payments), individual terminal deposits and cash desk receipts.
- Code for the terminal - if you lose the paper cash count, open its detail and hold the QR code or barcode at the bottom edge of the screen to the terminal reader. The button appears on a cash count that is waiting for processing and has cash takings, and only if your carrier has enabled the code.
- Cash count status:
- Awaiting processing - the cashier has not processed the cash count yet,
- Processed - the cashier has closed the cash count,
- Open cash count - the ticket machine reports the cash count, its data has not arrived yet.
- Cash count difference:
- Left to hand in (red) - you handed in less than the takings,
- Overpayment (green) - you handed in more,
- Shortfall (red) - the cashier processed the cash count and closed the shortfall; it is no longer handed in,
- Settled.
- Deposits without a cash count - a terminal deposit the ERP system has not yet assigned to any cash count. The cashier assigns it during processing.
- Unprocessed cash counts with an amount to hand in are signalled by a badge on the tile. The number on the badge matches the number of cash counts waiting to be processed.
Cash handed in at the cash desk appears in the overview once the cashier processes it. Until then it is included in the amount left to hand in.
Employee takings (web)
Only those whom the carrier granted module administration see this screen. Everyone else sees only their own takings.
- An overview by employee for the selected month - number of cash counts, amount to hand in for the month and for the last 3 months, overpayments, deposits without a cash count and the oldest unprocessed cash count.
- The overview lists every employee who has a cash count in the selected month or has something to hand in for the last 3 months.
- Employees are sorted by the amount to hand in for the month, then for 3 months.
- Filter: month, employee’s cost centre, only employees with an amount to hand in, and search by name or personal number.
- Clicking an employee opens their takings on the selected month - the same content they see themselves.
- An employee whose employment has ended is marked with the Employment ended label.
- Cash counts without an employee (the personal number on the ticket machine is not in the employee records) are not in the overview; the summary shows their count. The cashier handles them in the ERP system.
Carrier settings
- Cash count code for the terminal - the cash count detail offers a QR code for the Albacon terminal or a barcode for the Bankovní technika terminal, which the terminal reads instead of the paper cash count. Default: Do not show.
- Code width (mm) - width of the code without the white margin; the terminal reader cannot read a larger code. An empty field means the size of the paper cash count.
