What the module does
- Displays the schedule for the selected month.
- Day order - on the web, a Day order field in the filter that runs the days from the start or from the end of the month; from the end you have the current day at the top without scrolling. In EDISONKA the order is reversed by the arrow button in the period header. The choice is shared between the AD and MHD schedules in EDISONKA, whereas on the web each module remembers it separately.
- Cards or list (EDISONKA only) - a switch next to the sort arrow. Cards are the default. List shows the month as a calendar: one row per entry and also days without entries (a dash), weeks in blocks, weekends in red, today in blue. Leave, sickness and other absences have the whole row tinted; an icon gives away a note. The calendar ends on the day up to which the carrier has published the plan - it doesn’t show it any further yet, so an empty day beyond that point doesn’t mean a day off. Tap a row to open the shift progress; an entry without one (such as a holiday) expands into the full card. Press and hold a row to copy it. The choice is shared between the AD and MHD schedules; on the web its counterpart is the Cards / Table switch.
- Search within shifts (shift, vehicle, customer).
- Tapping a card opens the shift detail in groups: Basic information (date and day, shift with a type badge, workplace, personnel number), Time, Route, Vehicle, Hours (hours worked, night hours) and Note.
- Shift progress - your activities on the shift in the order they follow: journeys with line and service, breaks, transfers and other activities, each with its time, duration and km driven. When drivers take turns or the shift is split, you see only your part. A part that was not run carries the Not run label. On the web you open it with the Shift progress button in the toolbar or in the shift detail, in EDISONKA by tapping the card or a list row.
- Tapping a journey opens the service progress - the stops with arrival, departure and km from the start of the journey. A stop the vehicle passes without stopping is marked passing through.
- Shift progress is available once your carrier has an updated EDISON. Until then the button and the arrow are not shown.
- Further fields appear depending on the type of shift - date to, for a split shift the break from and the afternoon start, and for irregular transport the pick-up place, destination and customer. A field with no content is not shown.
- For an activity with no times (holiday, sickness), All day is shown instead of the time.
How far ahead you can see the schedule is determined by the settings at your carrier. When it falls inside the selected period, the page warns you with a banner stating the date up to which you can see shifts; a period that lies entirely beyond it is not displayed at all.
Carrier settings
- How many days ahead the driver sees - empty or 0 = no limit, the driver sees the whole schedule. Otherwise later shifts stay hidden because the schedule is still being worked on.
