What the module can do
- Display the schedule for a selected month.
- Day order - on the web, a Day order field in the filter that runs the days from the start or from the end of the month; from the end you have the current day at the top without scrolling. In EDISONKA the order is reversed by the arrow button in the period header. Shifts within a day always remain chronological. The choice is shared between the AD and MHD schedules in EDISONKA, whereas on the web each module remembers it separately.
- On the shift card you can see the plate number and the fleet number (vehicle inventory number) and the hours worked in the duty roster.
- Tapping a card opens the shift detail - and from it the service progress, including the route on the map.
- The shift detail also opens the electronic trip log (the Trip log button) - it is filled in just as in the My Day module. No trip log is filled in for a graphical-timetable record, so the button is unavailable there. The table view of the schedule also shows the trip log columns (status, km and engine-hour readings before and after, distance driven, hours accrued, fuel, AdBlue and heater diesel refuelling, actual plate number).
- Notes for the trip (e.g. for a coach tour) are shown directly on the card.
- For a tour (occasional transport) the tour leader and their phone number are shown right on the shift card and in the detail; the web table has its own columns for them. You can call the number directly.
- Once the document has been approved, the schedule shows the actual data from the document instead of the planned values - times, places and the vehicle therefore match how the journey really went. Such a duty carries the Approved label. The log sheet values then come from the document too, so they may differ from what you entered - the dispatcher may have adjusted them when closing the duty.
The route is shown on the map only when the stops in the ERP system have GPS coordinates filled in.
Carrier settings
Are you seeing something other than you expect in the schedule - or, conversely, not seeing shifts you would expect? Your carrier switches the following behaviour on and off.
The tour leader and the actual data of a completed journey appear once your carrier enables them.
- How many days ahead the driver sees - the schedule may show only a limited number of days ahead, so that you do not see draft shifts that may still change. Empty or 0 = no limit, you see the whole schedule.
- Show unapproved (drafted) shifts as well - when switched on (the default), you also see unapproved (drafted) shifts; they are shown in red and may still change. When switched off, drafted shifts are not displayed at all.
- Multi-day shifts only on the departure day - a multi-day shift may be displayed only on the departure day, rather than on every day it spans. It is configured separately for scheduled (PAD) and unscheduled (NAD) transport; for scheduled transport it is on by default, for unscheduled off.
Notifications when the schedule changes
When your schedule changes you receive a push notification, so you find out about the change straight away. Eight items are reported: the document number, vehicle, trailer, order, duty roster, services, driver and the notes about them, and the note on the document. The message states the date of the shift and lists what has changed.
Notifications apply to shifts that have already been numbered (pre-printed) - the document must be numbered both before and after the edit. Your carrier must have sending switched on.
